Sant Cacau brings the world of chocolate to Vic
Raúl Cegarra (El Xocolater de Taradell), Sandra López, and Genís González have opened Sant Cacau on Carrer de la Riera in Vic. The new shop maintains its artisanal essence, using local products and facing the challenge of producing its own chocolate directly from the cocoa bean.

A new stage in Vic
Sant Cacau is the natural continuation of El Xocolater de Taradell, after 15 years of establishing itself as a benchmark for artisanal cocoa. The project was born following a trip to São Tomé, where they built ties with local producers and reaffirmed their commitment to fair trade and local sourcing.
Products with an artisanal seal
In the Vic shop, you can find the same products as in Taradell, with the exception of cakes for the time being. The selection includes various chocolates, cocoa-based creations, and artisanal preparations that blend tradition and innovation, always using selected ingredients and a process meticulous down to the last detail.
The challenge of making their own chocolate
One of their short-term goals is to manufacture their own chocolate starting from the cocoa bean. This would place Sant Cacau among the few workshops in Catalonia that control the entire process, from raw material to final product, guaranteeing authenticity and distinct quality.
